Jim has done it again! He takes us deeper into the sonic world of Below: darker, more ominous, more bass. Some tracks feel like approaching some secret in the depths that doesn't want to be discovered. Other tracks have harmonizing echoes as if listening to a live performance in a large cavern. The album is filled with curious melodies seemingly originating from somewhere in the dark. Mr. Guthrie delivers yet another outstanding album and a must-have if you enjoyed the first volume of Below.

Few soundtracks have such a command of ambience that they make me want to play the game just by listening to it. I cherish my memories of trying to figure out the deeper mysteries of the game with my girlfriend, burning countless repeats of Puzzle and Knowledge into my mind trying to decipher glyphs and puzzles, or appreciating the serenity of Majesty and Compass while jumping around the map, appreciating the beauty of the maps and hanging out with the lil animals. Thanks for the fond memories.
